Christmas in July

So excited! Got home yesterday from what was a very long day at work to find not one..but two boxes of goodies.

The first was my kit from The Girls Loft. So in love with this kit. I havent been part of a kit club (other than when i was with TLC..but felt like that was a chore..rather than something fun) for years. I love getting a sampling of items that go together that use hip new product and embellishments. I’m loving the Pink/Green..so Margie..and so perfect for the Girls Inagural kit. My absolute favorite is the Pink Paislee..Holly’s paper is going to be super hard to cut up! This kit and these papers will be perfect for my neice (affectionally referred to as sissy) and some fun pictures from my girls trips.

The other good box was my Elegant Winter Class kit from Amuse. I took the card class online with Julie last year and am so happy they have done it again this year, especially since I wasnt able to make it up to Sacramento for Julies A Muse a Palooza (AMAP) classes last weekend!

Quick Card for Card Swap

I participated in a card swap with 5 other CTMH consultants utilizing paper from the new Summer 2009 Catalog. I chose to participate in the Animal Cookies swap, and made a 5×7 card. I made the card with the Level Two Paper Pack , white Grosgrain Ribbon and the Sweet Baby My Acrylix from the Summer 2009 Catalog and the Happy Birthday & For You My Acrylix Stamp sets. The card pattern is modified from Originals, Message Secured. It’s hard to see in the picture but on the center of the flowers I used Liquid Glass.

A Quick Card

Just sharing a quick card I made for a Bridal Shower. Tried my hand with Odorless Mineral Spirits (aka Gamsol). It was much easier than I expected and I had a lot of fun with it.
